pentingnya notasi (dalam matematika)

hari ini, kuliah mengenai problem solving dan mendengarkan presentasi dari seorang teman. hmmm, selama presentasi itu, jujur aku pribadi ngrasa kalau banyak hal yang harusnya dipermasalahkan.
pertama, masalah notasi penulisan matematika. Gosh, banyak yang masih salah tulis. bukan maksudq untuk mendebat secara frontal, tapi... c'mon masih banyak hal yang harus diperbaiki dari presentasi itu. maaf ya, ini bukan masalah sentimen atau enggak sama yang presentasi.
penulisan meter yang harusnya m (lowercase) ditulis M (upercase). ok, that's not a big deal. tapi, bagaimana dengan penulisan titik sebagai pemisah nilai tempat dan perkalian yang sama sekali berbeda. ayooolah, itu kan sesuatu yang fatal. sepintas orang membaca itu kan tidak mengerti maksudnya.
nah, satu lagi yang sangat mengganjal dan nggak enak banget dilihat. keadaan awal (pemisalan) yang harusnya di-state dari awal tidak ditulis atau dikatakan dari awal. pastinya, membingungkan yang membaca kan?
oleh karena itu, saudara-saudara penulisan dalam matematika itu sangat penting diperhatikan. karena suatu simbol mengungkapkan hal yang berbeda dari simbol lainnya.
ya ibaratkan kita belajar bahasa mandarin, untuk kanji yang berbeda artinya beda pula kan? dan lagi cara penulisannya kan juga nggak boleh sembarangan.

so, TRUST Me, harus lebih hati-hati dalam menuliskan simbol dari matematika agar tidak terjadi salah arti. ^__^

Back to school

back to collage was one of things that i wanna do most this past few years. i don't know why but after joining STKIP Surya, i really have an urge to do it. may be because there are lot of people, especially my friends The tutors, that make me realize that i should move forward, not just sit down and watch the world rotate around me.

belajar..

alhamdulillah..Allah memberiku kesempatan untuk bisa belajar lagi mengenai pendidikan matematika. ah, sungguh setelah sekian lama bekerja dan karena kemalasanku sendiri belajar menjadi hal yang sangat-sangat ditunggu. apalagi, dapat beasiswa.. aaaaaahhhh, itu pas banget. hehe

setelah sekian lama menutup diri, belajar adalah salah satu saat untuk belajar membuka diri (lagi...).
hmm, kendati banyak sekali isu yang menyangkut beasiswa ini, tapi aku percaya Allah memberiku jalan untuk bisa menjadi lebih baik. bukan yang terbaik, tapi yang lebih baik.

PJP (the ghost story that isn't scary at all)

Pocongg  juga Pocong is one of new movie that we can watch in the cinema these day. altough it's about pocong, a ghost that actually scary, this movie isn't scary at all. this  movie was made from a book that have the same title as the movie.
as the book, its movie tell us about the life of pocongg (his name, not the species), a pocong, or as the author says 'seikat' pocong .actually in Indonesian language 'seikat' is used for saying something, anything , that was bound in one tie it usually used for saying a bundle of vegetable such as spinach and so on. it isn't used for a person or in these chase was a ghost. altough it made from a book, the plot have a little differences from it's book.

as we read in the news (the link above) some of animals in the national park (a  place for us to protect the animal) was likely to suffering the starvation because pf the water and food crisis. although the wild animals that live in way kambas live in the forest and it seems that they dont need our help, in reality they really need us.
the  water and food crisis that happen was caused by the dry season that lenghten from its ordinary period. a lot of things that the human do can affect this, a lot of polution in the nature, from the industries, homes, roads, and so on. we as human that have the rightful mind were not really thinking about what we do nowdays that cause it. sometimes eventhough people know the consequencies of something that they do (that caused the polution), they still do it without remorse. they just look for the money (a lot of money) that they could collect from industry. which is all of us know, it can caused a lot of problem if we didn't do the right things (to prevent the polution, or make the polution became somethings that can be recycle by the nature).

so, if we really care about the future we must do some things, altough it's just a little action. it can contribute prevent the destructive of nature for the animals or especially for ourself. a lot of things we could do, such as we can divide our own garbage that can be dissolve or the other one is something that contain chemical that hard to dissolve by nature. we can choose the mass transportation than the private one. the other way we could choose riding the bike to work than riding the motorcycle or private cars. there are a lot of other things that we could do for helping the animals.

what we think first when we heard a word 'create'???
 hmm maybe some of us thought that create means making something new from nothing. it's true for ALLAH to became the creator, because ALLAH make something exist from nothing. we could see the proe right now. people, world, trees, animals, stars, and so on. we could list it and it wont be ending until the doomday. so, it clear that when ALLAH creating something, we could get something new.butt, for us, human, what it does really mean. maybe some people have a very good idea about creating something from nonesistence. but, of course just a few people who have special ability to understand and comprehend something that can be used for solving their problems.

eventhough we can make something really new, for nonexisting things to be exist, to create also can be something that exist before but we change it, alter it, so it can be different idea from the previous one. it's more likely for us to creating something from some other thing that exist  before. we, human, of course have a limmited knowledge and ability to do or think about something, right? so, it's reasonable that just a few people that have the ability for making something really new, and the other to alternate it became something more useful or more simple or can be idea to make another new one. so, creating something also could be mean that we can gather some idea that exist before and make it become something new to solving problems that occur, or for an alternative for something that exist these day.  altough it's easy for us to say that gathering some idea is easy, in the reality it's still hard to do. it still need the creative people who can gather a lot of idea to become the new one, the simple one, the easiest one.

phrasal verb and idoms

hmm, the last friday my friend and i were learning about phrasal verb and idioms in listening part of a TOEFL test. it's actually hard to catch if we never heard or learn about two of that. so, let's learn.

A. Phrasal Verb
 phrasal verb is an idiom which consists of a verb followed by a preposition, a verb followed by an adverb, or a verb followed by an adverb, followed by a preposition. (http://www.wordpower.ws/grammar/gramch27.html)
A phrasal verb actually have a different meaning from its verb. for example
I ran into an old friend (ran into in this sentence have mean to meet somebody unexpectedly not by any chance the meaning is about an exercise i.e running).
so, because of that, at least we know some of word that we could use every day such as

SEMANGKAAAAA!!!!

hmm. .korea makin manis indonesia makin "kritis'

saat ini indonesia sedang dilanda demam korea. apa pun yang berbau korea (kebanyakan) bakal laris manis. mulai dari drama korea, film korea, bahasa korea, sampai musik korea. berbagai seni yang dikeluarkan oleh seniman dari negri ginseng itu memang lebih mendapat apresiasi dari masyarakat indonesia, terutama drama korea.

banyak alasan mengapa orang lebih senang menonton drama korea dibandingkan dengan sinetron di indonesia, jujur saya juga salah satu penggemar drama korea ini. yaaah dibandingkan sinetron indonesia yang. . [sengaja tidak saya tulis kepanjangannya takut menyinggung pihak-pihak yang berrsentuhan dengan sinetron.]. padahal sebenarnya kalau melihat kepintarannya, orang-orang negeri kita ini  [seharusnya] bisa mengalahkan dominasi dari film korea yang sedang merajai dunia drama negri kita.

wahai sineas muda dan tua yang ada di indonesia sepertinya ada baiknya untuk sejenak kita introspeksi diri. kita harus melontarkan pertanyaan kepada diri kita, mengapa drama korea yang notabene pendek tapi kok sangat digemari?
